Montessori consultant and parent coach, Reena Vohra Morgan, joins us to talk about Grace & Courtesy lessons in the Primary classroom. As Montessorians, we offer Grace and Courtesy lessons proactively, and also in response to observations of our students’ needs. But Grace and Courtesy doesn’t end with the lesson; the children need to practice, practice, practice! Reena discusses the power of role play in practicing these essential skills. Reena Vohra Morgan

Reena is an educator, leader, relationship builder, child advocate, wife, and mother to 3 amazing girls! With a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from the Erikson Institute and 20 years of experience, Reena offers guidance and support to fellow educators, parents, and caregivers — helping them place on their “oxygen masks,” so that they can better guide and support the children in their care!
Reena is AMS & AMI Primary (ages 3-6) Montessori Trained. She is Certified in Positive Discipline: Parent & Teacher Coaching (based on Jane Nelson principles). Reena is Certified REI consultant (Resources for Infant EduCarers, for ages 0-3 years). She is a Member and Current Vice President Board of Trustees for the Association of Illinois Montessori Schools (AIMS).
