We believe that the best learning comes from deep personal connection. That is why we make an effort to offer high-caliber trainings where you can collaborate with peers and facilitators in real time.

We are offering in-person full day workshops throughout the year at Greenspring Montessori School in Baltimore, Maryland. We are also offering a Zoom option for those who are unable to join us in person. See our schedule below.

Whether a school leader or a classroom teacher, it is common to feel anxious when there is a need for a “difficult” conversation with a family or colleague. Learning the skills involved in Courageous Conversations can help educators feel empowered and confident going into these exchanges. Cassi has aligned Montessori principles with Fierce Conversations by Susan Scott and added key components of Elizabeth Slade’s Montessori in Action to create a framework for having Courageous Conversations in the school setting.

Our school cultures create who we are as a school, the relationships within our community, our goals and values, and how people feel in and about our organization. There is no magic to creating a successful culture, but instead, a clear pattern emerges from top performing organizations. Great teams have clear strategies and actionable steps for creating strong models of safety, vulnerability, and shared purpose which are incorporated throughout their organizations. So how do we bring these strategies to life in our schools? Join Tamara for a full day workshop designed to help you build a vibrant culture of belonging and ownership in your school community.

Courage is a skill we can build and practice every day in our schools. Brené Brown defines a leader as anyone who takes responsibility for developing potential in people and processes — and has the courage to develop this potential. When we think of leadership in this way (and not about titles or corner offices), we see that teachers and school leaders are absolutely leaders, developing people every day! This workshop will be the entry point into the work of becoming daring leaders, which means losing our armor, building courage, practicing empathy, and more. Join us for a powerful day of vulnerability and impact as we explore and co-create a brave space together for this work.

Join us for a workshop that demystifies the science of awe and wonder and empowers you with actionable strategies for infusing these elements into your daily teaching routine. Explore the intersection of emotion, learning, and the cosmic tendencies that lie at the heart of Montessori education and discover how transcendent experiences can be seamlessly integrated into Montessori classrooms, promoting interconnectivity and nurturing a collective sense of ecological consciousness. This workshop offers a roadmap to becoming a truly responsive Montessori practitioner, ready to ignite lifelong learning in the hearts of your students.

While Dr. Montessori did not design environments for older adults, over the past thirty years researchers, clinicians, and architects have contributed to a large body of research that has resulted in Montessori for aging and dementia care guidelines. This approach combines Dr. Montessori’s philosophy with person-centered care and dementia care best practices. The Montessori philosophy of care is now being implemented in long-term care communities and individual homes throughout the world. Come discover a powerful approach to dementia care that will totally change your perspective on aging and dementia.

Greenspring Montessori School has been offering a Montessori education to students for over 60 years. Nestled on a 7-acre property that was originally a dairy farm, students ages 18 months through grade 8 thrive in our newly renovated buildings, state of the art Montessori classrooms, and rich outdoor learning environments.

We host in-person workshops in our Training Center classroom. Full-day workshops include lunch. We hope you will join us for an upcoming workshop!
