Dr. Philip Snow Gang
Founder, The Institute for for Educational Studies (TIES)
Dr. Philip Snow Gang is the Founder of The Institute for Educational Studies (TIES) and its graduate programs in Integrative Learning and Montessori Integrative Learning. He is a pioneer in the field of integrative, systemic, and transformative approaches to education. He is the author of Educating for Right-Act and Love: Extending and Expanding the Montessori Vision, Rethinking Education, and co-author of Conscious Education: The Bridge to Freedom, as well as developer of the mobile mind-mapping simulation, Our Planet, Our Home. He has been a friend of the Montessori family since the mid-1970s. Dr. Gang holds teaching credentials at the 3-6 and 6-12 levels and was instrumental in the development of Montessori secondary initiatives in the late 70s and 80s. He has also been a trainer of Montessori teachers.
