Michelle Blake is an instructor for infant and toddler Guides at multiple Montessori Teacher Education Programs, both in the United States and internationally. She is also the Montessori Infant and Toddler Level Coordinator for a regional college and serves as an adjunct Professor of Montessori Teacher Education. Michelle obtained her American Montessori Society (AMS) credential at the infant and toddler level. She is a graduate of the AMS Instructor Academy (first Cohort), an AMS Emerging Leader Fellow, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. She has conducted workshops at AMS’ The Montessori Event and various Montessori venues, and she is a published author in multiple Montessori media. Michelle is the founder and principal of Montessori Blooming LLC, a Montessori education consulting group.

Michelle’s primary focus in Montessori teacher education is guiding adult learners to transform into confident and harmonious Montessori Guides. She describes herself as a Montessori enthusiast who enjoys collaborative learning and infuses levity and light-heartedness into her instruction with adult learners while staying true to authentic Montessori philosophy.

Michelle’s favorite Dr. Montessori quote is, “A man does not just happen; he does not just grow like a flower. If we put a plant in the earth, we must know how much soil and water it wants, and then water it regularly. Then, one day, we shall see the flower coming.”
