Rachel Shatananda joins us to talk about supporting children with their spiritual development, particularly by creating space and structures for calm and peace in an age of overwhelm.

Rachel Shatananda
Montessori Consultant
Rachel has been actively been engaged in the Montessori 3- 6 classroom for over 25 years. She is AMI certified from India, very close to where Dr. Montessori spent many years teaching.
Rachel ran her own Montessori school for 10 years. She is currently support Guides at a local Montessori school, where she serves in classrooms from Infants to lower Elementary. Rachel says this work invites her to to view her life’s work from different vantage points.
Rachel’s focus for the past decade has been creating and cultivating deep knowing and listening into every facet of her personal and professional life. She says, “I continue to be in awe of how my relationship with this deep knowing helps me show up being completely open to follow the child and be in service of his/her development.”
