Montessori Mentoring Communities
Year-long, virtual mentoring communities for Montessori educators and school leaders that provide high-quality education and practical help in real-time.
Virtual Mentoring Communities
The Key to Success and Longevity
Are you in your first years as a Montessori Guide or new to school leadership? Or are you an experienced practitioner who could use some fresh inspiration and ideas to deepen your practice?
Join our online mentoring communities for support and guidance as you do the hardest and most important work there is! Connect with others at your level for weekly online meetings, discussing important topics relevant to the time of year, asking questions, sharing concerns, and mining the collective intelligence of the group. Each cohort is led by an experienced Montessorian, who shares expertise and insight, as well as bringing in relevant guest speakers to better address the needs of the group. We are better together!
Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year is now open!
Earn Continuing Professional Development Hours
Participants in our mentoring communities are eligible to receive continuing professional development hours from Association Montessori International of the United States (AMI-USA) or the American Montessori Society (AMS).

Testimonials
“The mentoring program has given me great ideas to implement in the classroom. I am very grateful to participate in a group where I can share my experiences as a new guide, and listen to others, as well as creative ways to put what I’ve learned into practice. This program is valuable, and encourages us to practice goal setting, review and feedback for personal and professional growth…. Thank you Julia and Veronica.”
“I’m so happy that I made the decision to take part in the mentorship program with Greenspring Center for Lifelong Learning. I feel supported and empowered to step into my new role as Lead Guide with confidence, knowing that I have weekly sessions with deeply experienced leaders in the field guiding me in my practice. I am amongst a community who truly understand the importance of the work we are doing.”
The mentoring program for early educators at the Greenspring Center has been invaluable for three main reasons: expertise, community, and flexibility. First, the mentors who host our weekly sessions bring decades of teaching experience to share with us on any classroom, philosophy, or curriculum question. The mentors create a community in which the new mentee teachers share their experiences and tools with each other. This network of peer teachers can discuss on-the-ground, pertinent issues that are coming up in each of our schools. We help each other brainstorm ideas that are practical and are additionally informed by our mentors. Finally, the ability to implement our learnings directly in the classroom week after week is the third reason for the value of the program. The flexibility in the structure of this particular Greenspring Center program makes it so the topics are immediately usable in our day to day; e.g. we moved the session about family engagement to the week before we were set to have our first family/guide conferences. All in all, the expertise passed on to us, the accessible community of practitioners, and the flexible curriculum that follows the mentee teacher is the winning formula for this mentoring program. The tangible outcome to participants is that it makes us more engaged and confident Montessorians.
